the good: easy to use, free if you're only doing a few products the bad: doesn't honor templates, doesn't always get the draft/active status right, and only imports a single photo Kind of a pain in the neck but it's marginally better than a plain csv import.

This CSV field mapping app is the best one I have tried on Shopify. It works the first time and the customer service is excellent. The app seems to work fine but it doesn't offer anything else than the default Shopify product import-export app. It might help a better app showcase where it shows what the app can do better than the regular Shopify app. Great support and customer service.
