My New Favourite Alt Text App!

I've tried quite a few alt text apps for Shopify over the years, and this is easily one of the best. What really sets AltifyAI_App apart is the ability to use your own AI API keys, including OpenAI, Gemini, and other providers, while also giving you the flexibility to choose exactly which model you want to use. That level of control is rare and makes it easy to balance quality, speed, and cost.

The app's settings are exceptionally well thought out. With the right configuration, it generates some of the best alt text I've ever seen, producing descriptions that are detailed, natural, and genuinely useful rather than the generic output many competing apps create.

I also love the workflow. Whether you want to process your entire catalogue in bulk or selectively target specific products, collections, images, or groups of products, the app makes it simple and efficient. It saves a huge amount of time while still giving you complete control over what gets updated.
