Merchants say this is a strong option for connecting Etsy and Shopify, saving time and reducing manual work. Bulk listing, product mapping, and automatic syncing of inventory and orders make multi‑channel selling much easier, even for large catalogs. Many find it smooth and reliable once set up. Support is frequently praised as fast, patient, and knowledgeable, with hands-on guidance via calls and screen sharing.
I have been using CedCommerce for around 1.5 years. I initially started with their Etsy integration and later onboarded their TikTok and eBay apps as well. I have invested a significant amount of money with CedCommerce because I genuinely expected their service and support to be reliable for a business that depends heavily on accurate marketplace integrations. When I initially started with the Etsy app, I paid approximately $2,500, which included the app plan and customization/onboarding work. At that stage, I understood that there were additional costs because some customization was required. However, the experience at renewal was completely different.
For the renewal of the Etsy service alone, I was asked to pay approximately $6,500. Across Etsy, TikTok and eBay, I am now spending around $9,000 in total.I was told that this higher renewal amount included ongoing customization, priority support through chat, meetings and WhatsApp, and that an account manager would be assigned to me. These were presented as important additional benefits of the package.
An associate named Aditi was assigned as my account manager, but unfortunately my experience after that was extremely frustrating. Instead of making the account management easier, several things became more complicated and, in my experience, my account was badly managed. What makes this even more frustrating is that the current CedCommerce plans already advertise support features. Their Growth plan, for example, currently includes inventory syncing and support, while their higher/custom plans advertise additional support and development services. So as a customer paying thousands of dollars for a supposedly premium/custom arrangement, I expected a significantly higher level of reliability and accountability. The biggest problem is that I am now facing a very serious inventory synchronization issue.Yesterday, I actually oversold products because the inventory did not sync correctly. And this has been an ongoing issue. For an e-commerce business, this is not a minor inconvenience. Inventory synchronization is one of the most fundamental functions of an Etsy-Shopify integration. If inventory is not updated accurately, it can directly result in overselling, cancelled orders, unhappy customers and financial losses. What is especially disappointing is that I was specifically paying for what was described to me as priority support and ongoing customization. If I am paying approximately $6,500 for the Etsy renewal alone, I should not have to discover that inventory is not syncing properly after an overselling incident.Another major concern is the way customization charges were presented to me. My understanding is that customization/development charges are generally a one-time cost. Therefore, charging a substantial recurring renewal amount on the basis of “ongoing customization” without clearly explaining exactly what continuing customization work is included is extremely difficult to justify from a customer's perspective.I also feel that the pricing and value proposition were not explained transparently enough at the beginning. I agreed to the higher renewal because I was told I would receive ongoing customization, priority support, meetings, WhatsApp support and an account manager. But when the core functionality itself fails and I end up overselling products, those additional promises lose their value. At this point, I honestly feel that I have been significantly overcharged relative to the value and reliability I have received.I am not writing this review because of one isolated support interaction. I am writing it after approximately 1.5 years of using CedCommerce and after spending thousands of dollars across their marketplace applications.I expected a premium experience because I was paying for one.Instead, I have experienced:
* Extremely high renewal costs compared with the standard plans
* Unclear justification for the large recurring customization/support fee
* An account manager experience that made things more complicated rather than easier
* Inventory synchronization problems
* An actual overselling incident caused by inventory not syncing properly
* A gap between what was promised as “priority support” and the actual experience
* Concerns about whether the additional premium services justified the amount being charged
I understand that integrations can sometimes face API or marketplace-related issues. However, when a company is charging thousands of dollars for a premium service, I expect proactive monitoring, clear communication, accountability and rapid resolution when something goes wrong.I have been a CedCommerce customer for 1.5 years and I gave them multiple opportunities because I wanted the integration to work long-term. Unfortunately, the combination of the pricing, account management experience and the recent inventory/overselling issue has seriously damaged my confidence in the platform.
I would strongly recommend that anyone considering a premium/custom plan first get everything in writing: exactly what customization is included, what is one-time versus recurring, what “priority support” actually means, what the account manager is responsible for, and what happens if inventory synchronization fails.
For my experience, the price I paid and the service I received simply do not match.
Very disappointed after investing so much money and trust in CedCommerce.
Good platform and the support team are always helpful and friendly (Id give 5 star for Mohd Fahad Khan). The only issue is that I’ve had to contact them several times about the same problem, which seems to be a software issue. Hopefully this can be fixed, but overall I’m happy with the service.
I would like to give my highest recommendation to Bhavya for the incredible support she provided me from start to finish.
As a first-time Etsy user, I had so many questions and needed help with everything—from downloading and installing, to connecting Etsy with Shopify, setting up the integration, making payments, and listing my products. Every time I encountered an error or got stuck, Bhavya was there to help me.
What impressed me the most was her patience and kindness. She never made me feel uncomfortable for asking questions, no matter how many times I needed help. Whenever I said, “I need you,” she was there. She explained everything clearly and guided me through each step until the task was completed smoothly.
I have never experienced customer support as kind, patient, and genuinely helpful as Bhavya. There was never any rudeness or frustration in her voice. She made what could have been a very stressful process feel easy and manageable.
Bhavya truly deserves recognition and recommendation for her outstanding customer service. She went above and beyond to make sure I understood what I was doing and that everything worked properly.
Thank you, Bhavya, for your patience, professionalism, and genuine willingness to help. You made my first Etsy experience so much smoother!
